Just one day since being released, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has already managed to sell over 1 million copies.
It has a ways to go to beat the first game which released in 2018 and has sold 8 million copies to date. However, it took the first game around two weeks to hit a million copies sold, so the sequel is aleady on track to blow it out of the water.
A lot of the games success seems to be on PC. As I’m writing this the game is the number 1 best-seller on Steam and just hit a huge 164,901 concurrent players. The reviews have it sitting at a “Very Positive” rating so far

It isn’t just the players that are loving the game either, as it currently holds an aggregated score of 89 on Opencritic. That makes it the highest-scoring release of 2025 thus far.
